Fortunately there was a set of 5 die hanging around from a Christmas care package, otherwise I would have had to try to make some.Īnyway, the trial scenario worked OK with Virgil Earp going 'Out of the Fight' in the 1st round of shooting but all the Clanton Gang following him by the end of the following reaction – very deadly! I'm not convinced I did all the Reaction Tests correctly but it seemed to flow OK. I have basically nothing more than office stationery and access to a printer for the rules etc. The game was no visual spectacular because it was just cardboard pieces with the character names written on, but I'm in Afghanistan and that's the best I could do.

I've just played my first game of Chain Reaction 3 using the free Gunfight at the OK Corrall scenario and, once I got into the reaction system, I found it very quick and entertaining.
